Ever-evolving, la mano is continually engaging with our producers and producer cooperatives and organizations. This past August we found a wonderful new Zapoteca Indigenous Women's Weaving Cooperative, Vida Nueva, to work with for the handcrafting of our beautiful wool shawls.
November 2011 la mano - ethical textiles is excited to partner with Artefilum and several other fair trade enterprises in the Fair Trade Market, a one month Pop-Up store that will bring a wide range of beautifully handcrafted artisan works to Vancouver in time for the holiday season.
